Captain Tom from Exodus Boat Charters qualified for and was invited to participate in the International Game Fishing Association Offshore World Championship. Together with Bernard Johnson, Martin Edgar and Gary Hussion “Team Saint Lucia” was formed to represent Saint Lucia in this tournament. The 2012 IGFA Offshore World Championship hosted from 13 – 18 May 47 teams from 21 countries in the beautiful destination of Cabo San Lucas Mexico. 211 anglers released a total of 401 Striped Marlin over 4 days of fishing. Team Saint Lucia placed 9th overall with 12 Marlin releases. Teams from places such as Tonga, Kenya, Spain, Papua New Guinea, Australia, New Zealand and others converged for a great week of fishing and comradeship.
